The Gardens of Castle Hills Senior Living in San Antonio, TX helped a special couple celebrate 66 years of marriage in November 2022.
Army Lt. Col. David G. is 93-years-old and his wife Edna is 90. The couple met at a dance in Indiantown Gap, Pennsylvania. They were married Oct. 12, 1956 at Walmers Church, and have seven children.
When asked why they feel they are a great match for each other, Mr. G. said, “Because I’m a nice guy and everyone likes me.” The couple shared that their secret to a happy marriage is simple: true love.
The Gardens of Castle Hills was happy to help the couple commemorate 66 years together along with family and friends. True love is always worth celebrating.
