When someone you care about is living with Alzheimer’s or another form of dementia, finding a place that feels like home — and a team that will care like family — is the top priority. The Gardens of Castle Hills memory care in San Antonio, TX, an Alzheimer’s Association-certified community, is just that kind of place.
A Garden Walk
Memory Care Program with Trellis Support
Our program was founded upon the philosophy that a person affected by memory loss can have a life of enjoyment, and meaningful relationships. With purposeful interaction with family, loved ones, and our specially-trained care team, we can discover ways to connect and engage with residents.

Just as a Trellis will support the vines of a blooming flower we can all participate in supporting our loved ones to experience life to the fullest of their abilities.
Trained team members work with you to get to know your loved one and develop a plan of care that will best meet their needs and yours. Our thoughtfully designed memory care environment provides a place where residents feel welcome, comfortable and understood. It’s a place where your loved one can participate in activities they enjoy indoors or outdoors.
Activity and engagement are an important part of each day. With a full calendar of planned activities and events by a dedicated program director, residents are encouraged to live fully in the moment — whatever that moment may be. Our director personally encourages each resident to walk, sing, dance, bake, craft, garden, and more. All this while feeling supported with reminiscing, making emotional connections, and actively participating in daily living.

“I just wanted to share with you how thankful and happy we are for the addition of Alma to the Memory Care team. I visited this afternoon and to my surprise, my nana, Marie Partington, was fully engaged in a painting activity. Believe me when I say, she does NOT do crafts! But somehow, Alma got her to participate and she was having a great time. I can not express to you how much it means to witness the care and compassion that your staff exhibits day in and day out. Looking forward to watching the residents flourish as activities are added!”
