What is The Gardens of Castle Hills Environment Like?
When you join with Imagine, you’ll find residents and team members who consider it a joy to greet newcomers and go out of their way to help you feel right at home. Our memory care environment is a single-story space with no elevators or stairs that was specially designed to provide a place where residents feel welcome, comfortable, and understood.
Our life stations, located throughout the community, help encourage walking by giving residents the opportunity to reminisce and make an emotional connection. We also encourage your loved one to safely pursue the activities that make them happy, whether it’s indoors or out.
Is The Gardens of Castle Hills Community Alzheimer’s Certified?
Considering a community for a loved one struggling with dementia is a big decision, and you want to be assured that they’re in good hands. Our community is Alzheimer’s Certified, which means we have additional requirements that ensure we’re suited to provide the appropriate care and programming to your loved one.
In Texas, Alzheimer’s Certification includes:
- Additional staff training requirements
- Elevated programming criteria
- Increased educational requirements for the management staff
- Special safety protocols to maintain a secure environment
Being certified means a community understands that memory care is a specific form of assisted nursing that requires a specialized skill set. Our Trellis program has the education, knowledge, and experienced team members that will allow your loved one to thrive.
